Monikie Village Hall Wedding
A Monikie Village Hall Wedding is usually a great family wedding and Eilidh and Rory’s was no exception.
The day was planned to include everyone from babies to the older generation and all their family and friends in between.
The hall looked amazing and it wasn’t surprising as so much work had been put in to transforming it from a basic village hall to a fabulous wedding venue.
Quirky signs, fairy lights, a bouncy castle, a grazing buffet and a VW Campervan all added to the theme. The phone box was a great bonus and was one of the reason’s why they wanted this particular hall.
I spent the morning at one of her bridesmaid’s houses where all the girls were having their hair and make-up done by Kirsty McPherson.
Eilidh and her bridesmaids arrived at the hall in a cute VW Campervan decked with chintsy bunting. She was met by her Dad who walked her down the aisle too be married to Rory.
A registrar from Angus performed the ceremony and they exchanged rings and drank from a traditional Scottish Quaich.
The drinks reception was so relaxed and guests spent the afternoon sitting in the sunshine and enjoying the view.
Here’s a few of my favourite from the day, enjoy!
